QECEWAS I
The project aims to achieve the following objectives:1. To enhance clean water quality for daily use;
2. To develop an awareness among local people in the area about the importance of consuming clean water for drinking and other daily purposes;
3. To increase understanding of the local people about the clean water mechanism which will be installed by developing skills to maintain the sustainability of the water filtering mechanism; and
4. To show local people how to install their own clean water mechanisms at their own houses.
ACTIVITIES
Seminar
To build an awareness of the importance of acquiring clean water and consuming healthy water for daily consumption.
Workshop
To present knowledge an technology transfer by providing technical skill training for local people and assembling, operating an maintaining clean water system.
Prototype Installation
Installation of one prototype of the clean water system for public use, especially for people from low income families.
